These maps were developed for a variety of projects from my undergraduate studies at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Each was compiled and processed in ArcMap before being exported to Adobe Photoshop for visual enhancement.

The above maps were produced for a corridor study of a portion of 7-Hwy in Blue Springs Missouri.

Map GIFs such as this are an excellent way to display correlated data such as the association between vacancy and illegal dumping in the Indian Mound Neighborhood of Kansas City, MO.
Using Photoshop to fine-tune the display of data allows for the clear conveyance of complex information. Here, high concentrations of Indian Mound resident’s jobs can be found in flood zones, showing that despite the neighborhood’s high elevation, the residents there are not immune from the effects of flooding.
This map includes data acquired from the Lodging Association of Kansas City and displays the location and relative guest capacity of hotels, along with their proximity to a development site. This was important information to support the building of a boutique hotel in an under-served area with numerous tourist attractions.
